Cornelia Schrauf

studied zoology with a focus on cognitive biology at the Vienna University. As part of her doctoral thesis, she worked at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, the Great Ape Research Institute in Japan and at the University of Heidelberg. After earning her doctorate, she acted as project leader in the department of behavioural biology at the Vienna University. Since 1. April 2012, she has been the project manager of the Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF), and is responsible for strategic planning of funding initiatives in the life sciences, development of new funding format, as well as the implementation of existing program bids. Throughout her career as an advisor for scientists and academics, she has amassed competence in the areas of research data and data management plans..
