About the seminar

e-infrastructures Austria will host a four-day training seminar for research data stewardship and e-infrastructures in order to aid representatives from libraries, research services and IT services in the establishment of institutional repositories and research support services. The lectures offered cover technical, organisational and legal themes. They act as a supplement to existing educational opportunities and encourage the exchange of knowledge in the areas of research data management, data stewardship and workflows of research processes and digital archiving.

This training seminar was designed primarily for individuals from partner institutions working in library services, research services or IT services, who are already engaged in the long-term development of institutional e-infrastructures and research data management services, and who could be valuable contacts for the future.

At the end of the event, all participants will receive a certificate of participation.

The individual modules will almost always be moderated and led by at least two lecturers. Each lecture lasts 90 minutes, with 30 minutes reserved for discussion. After the conclusion of the seminar, all lecture materials will be made available electronically and with a free-use license.

The event as a whole, but also the individual modules, will be evaluated at the end of the event. Participants will be asked to fill out an online participation survey.

This event is organized by e-infrastructures Austria.
